Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 October 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Nettie mobile app and the nettie.app website (together, the "Service"), operated by LOVE AND COFFEE LIMITED ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 09859856), registered address 13 Grangemouth Road, Coventry, United Kingdom, CV6 3EZ.

By downloading, accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. If you got Nettie from the App Store, Apple's Standard EULA also applies.

1. What Nettie is

Nettie is a calorie tracker. It estimates the nutrition of the food you log by photo, barcode or text, and compares it with the active calories your device's health platform reports. Features may change over time.

2. Not medical advice

Nettie is not a medical device or a health service, and it doesn't give medical advice. Its nutrition figures are estimates. AI estimates, product databases and calories burned from health platforms can all be wrong. Check anything important, and talk to a doctor or dietitian before making big changes to your diet, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, or have a history of disordered eating. You are responsible for your own health decisions.

3. Eligibility

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend access that breaches these Terms.

5. Subscriptions and refunds

6. Your content

You keep ownership of what you log (text and photos). You give us permission to store and process it, including sending it to our AI providers as described in the Privacy Policy, only to provide the Service to you.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its code, design, text and branding, is owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use it for its intended purpose.

8. Availability and changes

We provide the Service "as is" and "as available". We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, to the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss arising from inaccurate nutrition or activity estimates. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose.

10. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your data at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms. The intellectual property, liability and governing law sections survive termination.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you also keep the mandatory protections of your local law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the date above and, where changes are significant, tell you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
